Wind Song Retreat Center is located fifty miles west of Atlanta on 45 wooded acres with several beautiful streams, a Barn Bunkhouse, camping sites, a River Pavilion, a kiva cave for meditation and chanting, and nature trails.

The retreat process will focus on forgiveness and rebirth. The natural state of all beings is beauty, balance, prosperity, and real joy.  The techniques of harmony will be meditation, Dances of Universal Peace, walks in nature, story- telling, poetry, and fire ceremony. Other practices may be included based on the needs of the participants.

The retreat guides will include Subhan Jim Burton, Ph.D., Hayya Nancy Burton, Ed.S., Muhasaba Molly Wender, and Zahir Buck Avant.  Subhan has served as a retreat guide for more than thirty years. Hayya is an early childhood teacher. Muhasaba is a Sufi Order Representative, Healing Conductor, and is currently taking Retreat Guide Training.  Zahir is a Healing Conductor, and has served as a retreat guide for 15 years. Subhan and Hayya have studied with Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan and Murshida Vera Corda. Subhan has also studied with Aziza Scott and Murshid Shahabuddin David Less.

The cost for the Passover/Easter treat is $99. To register, please complete the Registration form on the next page and email it or mail it to Wind Song Retreat Center at the above address. The Retreat will begin at 7 pm on Friday, and end at 3:30 pm on Sunday. Simple vegetarian meals will be provided on a donation basis on Saturday for lunch & dinner and Sunday for lunch. Childcare will not be provided at this retreat. Passover-Easter Retreat

Retreat Dates: Friday, April 6, 2012 - Sunday, April 8, 2012

Check-in:    6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. First session will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening.

The Location:       Wind Song Retreat Center, 2012 Armstrong Mill Rd, Franklin, GA 30217.  Approximately 50 miles west of Atlanta off US Highway 27, south of  I-20, between Carrollton & LaGrange. A map and directions will be available upon request.

Meals:                       Meals provided during the retreat include a snack on Friday evening, Saturday – Lunch & Dinner, and Sunday - Lunch; meal donations are requested.

Childcare is not provided.  Parents are responsible for their children at all times.  Parents may choose to arrange cooperative childcare on-site.  Children will not be admitted to the seminar sessions.
